Posted by Marijn - Thursday September 29 @ 02:02 Some of you probably noticed that today I've added the 'Remember Me' checkbox beneath the login-form on the right. This means you don't have to login everytime you visit Net-Force anymore! Whoohoo :)For safety reasons the auto login ID is bound to your IP address, so no one can login from another IP in case they steal your cookie. But you can have other auto login ID's on other computers (with other IP's) at the same time that all login to the same account. The 'Remember Me' checkbox is unchecked by default, but if you want to use it, you'll only have to check it once (on a computer with a static IP...) so that's not a problem, I suppose :) You can kill sessions on other computers at [Account] -> [Sessions], when maybe you forgot to logout at another computer or you think your computer has been compromised. The auto login ID only lets a user login, so if the user is logged in and then the ID is removed, the user is still logged in -- until the browser window is closed or you press Logout of course. |

Nice idea with the current sessions for differnt IP's and the possibility to kill your own sessions active on other computers :)

Dunno why I didn't make it sooner. Probably because no one ever asked for it, but now I got tired of it myself :P Glad you like it ;)
