New Stegano challenge 'We come one'
Posted by Marijn - Wednesday February 7 @ 00:13
Cat: Net-ForceYay, another new challenge :) Thanks a lot BernardV for creating this one. It's a stegano and we hope it's not as hard as the last few challenges (btw, start solving those!! :P).

Anyway, good luck.

Much congrats B, looks like a very nifty challenge ;)

jcfs on 7 February 2007 00:52

Nice challenge mate :D

ilias on 7 February 2007 21:07

Cool challenge!
I like(d) it!

ilias on 7 February 2007 21:11

Oh, and the last few challenges really aren't _that_ hard, in comparison to some elder ones like drugs are bad and StepbyStep!

mith_mith on 7 February 2007 21:36

agree with ilias

ilias on 9 February 2007 22:29

What channel is flawed? =/
You mean "challenge"?
if so, please pm me how it is, I'd really appreciate that..

Thanks rhican :)

ilias on 9 February 2007 22:47

I don't see in which way this challenge is "flawed".
Everything I've done in order to solve it, was part of the challenge. (I guess)
So please, do explain me via pm how it is. Or even better, join us on IRC..

jcfs on 9 February 2007 23:27

I don't see why it is flawed either. Care to explain rhican?

BernardV on 10 February 2007 13:18

Yes Rhican, please let me know..
I'd really appreciate it.

mith_mith on 12 February 2007 18:22

i dont see rhicans comment saying its flawed :o

busyr on 13 February 2007 21:00

That was removed for posting too-much-info...

Marijn on 13 February 2007 23:00

If it's really flawed, it will be fixed of course, but I have no information about that.

busyr on 14 February 2007 01:09

Ask Illias ;-)

rhican on 14 February 2007 01:19

I've had to revise the status from flawed, after debate with jcfs

and set it to:
not logical, borderline idiotic

Basically i have a far more logical explation (imHo) if i swap two bits in the file.

busyr: you're at least half right (but it has been classified by the powers that be).

Marijn on 14 February 2007 01:22

Well, I'm glad it's solvable then, being borderline idiotic. Shouldn't it be discussed with BernardV to adjust the challenge, instead with jcfs? Or are we talking about a different challenge here.

rhican on 14 February 2007 01:26

No.

I don't recall that being part of http://www.net-force.nl/rules/
but we all know how important they are.

Marijn on 14 February 2007 01:29

I think it is, 'That's basically it :) Just use your common sense.' I call it common sense to discuss flaws in a challenge with the creator so it can be adjusted. I'll talk to jcfs when he gets back from his trip and to BernardV. Thanks :)

rhican on 14 February 2007 01:37

"Thanks :)"

o no, now you have me, I so do not care.

Marijn on 14 February 2007 01:41

Discussion closed, this leads to nothing.
